A couple of questions.
Hi all I have a few questions that have been bugging me for a while...
1. Does anyone know what the 'flip' button does on the digi 002 desk? 2. Whats the use for an aux track when you can do all of the same functions with an audio track? 3. Is it possible to create a sync point within an audio region? 4. Is there a shortcut to delete a selected audio track? Many thanks L.Dudley |

Re: A couple of questions.
1. AFAIK it swaps/flips the plugincontrols usually on the dials to the faders, making it more clear what you are doing there.
2. an aux-track doesnt count in the track-count and is used to route stuff around protools. Set up an aux (and and a bus) for one verb for everything. Set up an aux-track as an input for your midi-modules or Reason or something. You have i believe 128 aux-tracks available and 32 audiotracks. 3. In slip-mode click with the selector (i-beam) on the location you want the sync-point. Then choose edit/indentify sync-point from the menu. To get rid of it select the whole region with the grabber/hand and choose edit/remove sync-point (page 265 of the ptle 6.4 reference manual) 4. No shortcut AFAIK, but why would you want that. Usually you dont want to delete tracks by accident.....
