You could make use of an old Control24 with current Pro Tools and Mixbus with Neyrinck V-Control Pro.

I can tell you a bit about this as I just went thru it. The Control 24 with neyrinck's software WILL work as a HUI surface(I had it working on PT 2022.4), but you need to "soften" your expectations about some features. Here's some detail:
1-all faders transport and keypad work
2-scribble strips will display 4 characters only
3-while you CAN control plugins from the knobs, its clumsy. I asked Paul about adding the feature he put on the Faderport V2 where you can hit a button, hover the mouse over any parameter and have a knob control that, and he said he would look into it(not sure where that went)
4-as many buttons that worked, there are many that won't
5-overall, it was pretty good and might be a viable option for some. For me, my room was too small and my screen setup(over and under) just wouldn't work, so I sold the Control24 and bought the Faderport V2
