Pro Logic 2 encoding?

Yes, I know, not a professional standard such as 5.1 or DTS, but used a lot on game consoles and I believe TV.
I do all my soundfx mixing in PT and it would be great if I could mix/encode straight to Dolby PL2. I've heard of the Dolby Surround Tools, but these are just that; surround.
A Dolby representative I talked to told me to ask Digi....

There is surcode from Minnetonka, but currently it is PC only, although a VST version is on the horizon.
I'd really like a plugin for PT..perhaps a Dolby Surround Tools update could do this?

I talked with Dolby at NAB when they were displaying their new 5.1 encoder and I asked when we would see it as a plug in. They submitted it to Digi and now the ball is in Digi's court. Also in the near future SRS is coming out with a plug in for Pro Tools that will give you 5.1 encode and decode into a Lt/Rt. track.

That SRS thing looks interesting; no word on when, just that it is in the works according to their site.
There is already 5.1 encoding through Kind of Loud's SmartEncode plugin, which is cool.
But it seems Pro Logic 2 is still uncatered for (on the mac at least:).
