Default DAE Error - 1115 on Launching Protools 7.3.1 HD Accel Core

Config :
Power Mac G5 - 2.66 Dual Core Intel Xeon, MAc OSX 10.4.9 / 4 GB Ram.
ProTools HD 3 Accel PCIe System.
Protools Version 7.3.1 cs 4.


After installing the software on launching the ProTools application error message pops up - DAE Error -1115.

Removed the HD PCIe Core Card and installed on another computer same error. Installed the card on an older G5 2 ghz with Mac OSX 10.4.7 on a non intel machine same error.

Launching the digitest application on either of the machines DSI Error Occured - 1115 upon launching the digitest application then quits.

This sounds like you have a defective card. You should contact tech support or your dealer for information on getting it repaired.

Before doing so, you should go through all the steps in the OS X Setup and General Troubleshooting sticky at the top of this forum, specifically trashing preferences and doing a clean uninstall/reinstall of Pro Tools.

Will contact the local dealer Ansata Computers here in India. Have already sent a mailer out to tech support.

have not received any reply from the local dealer here in India neither have received any reply from tech support please advice regarding repair/replacement od the HD PCIe Core card
