Default Bad chip on DSP Farm ????

Allocator says that the third chip on the third (vintage) DSP farm is bad...

Now what? Is such a thing repairable?

Digi... what do you charge for such a thing?
(cringing...)

I would imaging that you mean digitest told you that the chip on the farm card was bad.
You will need an RA (return authorization) to have the card repaired and the cost is based on if you are in warranty or not.
You can reach tech support at 650-842-6699 to receive an RA as well as verify that the DSP chip is really bad (this could save you some money).

No, actually, Allocator told me, showing a solid red bar on the third chip of the third (vintage) DSP farm in the row.

DigiTest tells me that my system is not working at all, tho it works OK.
DigiTest tells me that all components suffer from "TDM transmission failure" and won't even test the third DSP farm because of some sort of "Time Out"...

Alas, another phone call...

Thx,

s.

The TDM Buss seems to be very very picky on timing issues. Are the boards seated correctly? the Cable between Cards locked down? Are the cards in an expansion cabinet? if so make sure the cabinet is functioning properly. These symptoms sound a lot like a buss problem...
