Default Off Topic: Masterlist and Peak Values

Hello Masterlist Ministers,

I'm hoping someone can help me out on this one.

I want to increase the left/right gain db of a song in Masterlist by 3.4db so that the song's Peak Value equals zero. However, Masterlist only allows the entering of integers (1,2,3...12) but not numbers which include decimals.

Other than going back into ProTools and redoing my mastered version by increasing the song level by 3.4db, what are you Masterlist masters doing in Masterlist to come closer to Peak Values of zero db?

Paul

Slim Shady,

The activity on the Masterlist is so light (how light is it?) I felt I could also get my question to knowledgeable folks through this forum (which I always use for ProTools questions).

I took you up on your advice though, and just posted to the Masterlist forum.

Hey Slim,

I wasn't meaning to give you a wink (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Thanks for your feedback.

Hey All!

I'm good to go. I got my answer in the Masterlist Forum.
