Right Click Marker Crashes 2023.12

Hey Folks,

Everytime I right click a marker to edit the marker parameters, PT crashes. either an instant crash or spinning wheel. Trashed prefs before install. after 5min of troubleshooting to get more info, if that new little box in the upper left corner is highlighted,PT crashes. if i un-highlight it. PT does not crash. Im not even sure what that box is yet:)but i can make it happen every time.
Easy fix, just don't highlight the little box in the upper left

Everything else is cool so far.just opened a bunch of sessions.

Yikes, I see what that little box does. if it's not highlighted i cant jump from marker to marker. So it seems if i wanna edit a marker, un-highlight, then highlight if i wanna jump from marker to marker.

Can anybody else confirm this behavior.

Simple work around. and hopefully just my system right now.
will confirm later if this happens on my second system.

Right clicking markers does nothing for me. No crashes.

I've always double clicked markers to modify its options and settings.

Right click does nothing, but maybe this behavior has been changing in the past year. No crash though.

Command click or double click to edit a marker.

I wasnt able to reproduce this. Have you already tried deleting your prefs?

Hey Tope,
So after more trouble shooting, the PT crash only happens if there is a window config associated with the Marker.
I use 4 window configs that are set to markers 1-4 so I can immediately change all my windows depending on what set of windows I need open.

Unless Im wrong, in every other version of PT when I add a new track, I then need to update my 4 markers so that the new track is included in the window config. I do that by right clicking the marker and click OK. I have to do that for each marker or the new track is not included in the window config. If I right click a marker that has a window config associated with it, PT crashes. Every time.
