Well whatever I have to pay I think its a disgrace that I have to pay anything. Upgrades are fine but this should be counted as an update.

As I mentioned in your other post, the company that makes these plugins for Avid was sold, so the new company is doing things a little different.

Keep in mind, it's not just an update, it's an upgrade. There are new features added to each instrument, and they will also be in Audio Units and VST format, making them usable in other programs besides Protools.

It's great to see that there is an upgrade path and porting to AU and VST is fantastic, it means I'm not locked absolutely to ProTools. I have a question, I have just purchased the Structure 1.1 update and my big problem is my installer of 1.1 doesn't seem to work on OSX 10.8.3?! It works fine on my system at home (10.6.8) so I can only assume this is a Mountain Lion incompatibility issue? Will there be any further development on 1.1 to get it to work on 10.8.3 or has all the focus been moved to 2.0? Am I maybe doing something wrong and not installing it correctly? I posted a question earlier this month on the board and nobody seems to know how to help me here.

Ill be moving to PT11 once all the big issues have been sorted out, but in the interim I sit without a sampler

Samara - not sure if you're still tracking this thread now that the noise has died down a bit ... but if you do drop in to answer the latest pending questions, a quick update on progress would be appreciated. Your/AIR's openness has been really useful and I can't see it prejudices your position much - many users are waiting on IEP to start using PT11 whilst others might be tempted by the current Native Instruments offers (although not yet AAX64, Kontakt at $199 might tempt potential IEP buyers away) ... should we hold our breath for the IEP release? Thanks!

Kontakt for $199?! Damn! Right now I have a brick that cost me about the same amount actually considering buying Logic and just moving out of the entire Avid environment! At least I know stuffs going to work on 10.8!

Yeah didn't logic spend the last year(s) migrating to 64bit AU's?
