Punchlight - any users of this product?

I am about to order a recording lamp from www.punchlight.com
I would like to know if this thing works properly, and if there are any people out there using it?
I am looking for a Lamp that indicates when PT is recording.

We are using it and it's great! It is easy to setup, easy to use and works perfectly. You just have to choose the right version, one is for using with Sync I/O, the other is MIDI only.

you could very easily make your own device
it is listed in the sync I/O manual and the USD manual.
all you need is a TTL relay . I made one for less than 30 dollars.

Wow I've been looking for something like this for years, can it indicate online (waiting for Timecode) & roll (lock play ) ??? i totally want one...... i can't always be infront of the screen to see if I'm online or locked... sometimes i'm in a control room that's too small for me to set up in, so it would help to see from a distance, or through a booth window some sort of lamp to indicate if my rig is waiting for sync, playing, or in lock playing...
