Bug in 2023.12, Last Memory Marker Moving When Copying to End

hello everyone, so instead of trying to explain, this
i created. a short video on it,
yes my audio is on left side only, that's another issue, lol

on my previous version, 2022.9.,, this did not happen, not sure if because i'm on Sonoma,

if anyone can verify on Ventura, or Monterey. running 2023.12

of course i know the workaround, is to place cursor ahead a bit, and then select all tracks again, and then paste, etc,
too many extra steps

Since you're copying a blank space from the start of your selection and pasting it over the END marker, it's replacing the blank marker space. This would happen for any marker. For the record, this also happens in 2023.6.

thanks, but i know for a fact. this did not happen in 2022.9,
i do this all day, every day, 100x times a day,

and yes, i copy. space @ beginning, so that my "segments". are not bunched up...

it should not shift that end marker,
i am not pasting it over the marker,
i am pasting @ end,

it never did, in all versions of pro tools, and i've used them all, version, 9, 10, 11, 12, Studio, etc

Since you're doing this in shuffle mode it looks like expected behaviour in 2023.12 but like bug in 2022.9

that's great, hope my 2 videos help in "fixing" this
sometimes it's easier to show it, then to write it,

also, that other "bug". where you can only click that 1st box to select memory markers, when clicking then holding shift. for a selection,
we used to be able to click anywhere, on name. etc.

if you'd like. i can do a video on that too. lol
