Unique ID
Hi All
I have noticed some of the audio clips available through Sonic Drop and other libraries have unique IDs. I am presume this is like a fingerprint to keep track of clips if they are used without permission Is this feature (assigning unique IDs to audio clips) available in all ProTools subscriptions? If so, how can I apply it to my own clips?

Pro Tools writes unique IDs into every audio file's meta data that is being imported. When files with unique IDs are moved somewhere else on your system or are renamed Pro Tools will find them very quickly. These unique IDs are just used for easier data management. Nothing to do with permissions.
