Pro Tools 10 composer/producer configuration (1)
Hi,
I just bought an HP Z420 PC and I want to install a professional home studio. I have Pro Tools 10 (non HD) and Digi 002 rack. I'm looking for a solid architecture of software that allows me to compose and produce. What I need (step 1): 1. Compose a rythmic section with the instruments (snare, hi-hat, etc) in different tracks. I WOULD DO IT IN NOTATION SOFTWARE OR EDITING SOME AUDIO OR LOOP SAMPLES, SO MAY BE I NEED TO DIFFERENT SYSTEMS. I have lots of percussion, drums and loops samples in wav, gig and rex/rx2 and midi formats. I use lots of samples of world and classic percussion, not only tipical drums. I've been reading some posts, these are the tools I heard of: - Sibelius 7 for notation - any integration problem with pro tools 10? - Structure - BFD2 - Superior drummer 2 - SSD4 - Reason - Toontrack Any recommendation of your experience is appreciated, thanks |
