6.1 ok but wave and ASIO not working!

So I installed 6.1. It works great, but I couldn´t figure out, how to get the wavedriver work. I installed the 6.1 beta wavedriver, but I can´t get it to work with the Reason Demo. In its audio (and MIDI also) preferences there is no option to select, just "no audio" and "no MIDI". And the ASIO driver does not work with Wavelab! So what´s the solution? Has anyone similar problems and has found the solution?

WaveLab (version 4.0.1a or whatever) with Digi ASIO for 001 works fine for me, though ironically, PT 6.1 doesn't (check my numerous posts about BOUNCE TO DISK [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] ).


one of the Digi paper book things that come with 6.1 says not to install both the wavedriver and asio on the same computer.

But Reason Demo ain´t working in standalone mode also! Just silence. In ProTools everything works ok (didn´t bounce yet [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] )

Are you trying to use wavedriver, or are you trying to use ASIO?

With Digi 002, I've used the 5.3 ASIO driver with Reason demo, 2.0 and 2.5. I've used the 6.1 ASIO driver with Reason 2.5 . All worked well for me. The Digi ASIO driver doesn't support MIDI, so I used my Soundblaster for that.

I´m trying to use the wavedriver, as long the ASIO driver will not be recognized by Wavelab. But the new beta wavedriver will not be shown in WL...
...so both drivers won´t work for me...
