How to open a pro tools first backup from my Mac?
Good afternoon!
Long and frustrating story short, is there a way to open a pro tools first project from a backup on my Mac? I installed the trial for regular pro tools, and to work with the tracks I already had on the go, I clicked “back up to the cloud” Now some of the projects open absolutely fine but in others there is no audio/ midi/ nothing (which I’ve seen has happened to people on here). It’s just a blank session. And no amount of waiting for things to download from task manager has helped. I searched how to find the locally stored sessions, got them but opening that one is empty too. I can see the audio files in the folders, but not the midi etc. I can also see that there is a backup saved from a few days ago but have failed to find a way to open it. I’ve backed that file and the folder just in case it goes pete tong, but if anyone has found how to open an actual back up, you might prevent me having a mental breakdown!! Thanks Steve Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
