Eleven Rack problem

Hello,

I know that this kind of problem is easy to solve but not for me so I need Your help. I bought used Eleven Rack and I cannot setup it properly.
When I plug guitar and headphones there is no sound. I tried different settings but nothing change even reset.

Can someone of You dear Avid Comunnity write to me point to point how to setup this machne properly. I think my problem is in Output or Input settings.

More info on your setup would be really helpful in narrowing down your problem.

Such as:

Windows or OSX?

What are the specs of your computer?

What Pro Tools version?

What firmware is on the Eleven Rack?

Did you install the Eleven Rack drivers? ect....

If you think its just the IO, have you tried defaulting it?

Thanks for reply, and sory for not enough important information about my machine. My Eleven Rack firmware is 2.01, Build 0.1.5.7 and it has the Expansion Pack.

Important: I don`t want to use Eleven Rack with PT and computer. I prefer use it alone, only with headphones and guitar. In the near future I`m goning to use Eleven Rack with some power amp, but now my rig is: guitar, headphones and Eleven Rack.

Summarizing my post: When I plug guitar and headphones in to Eleven Rack there is no sound.

Since you got it used I would suggest to do a factory reset. Benoni shows how to do it here:

What shoud I choice from User Options in Eleven Rack menu?:

Rig Input - guitar ?
Outputs to amp - ?

If you want the Guitar signal to run through the rig, then you choose GUITAR.

If you are not hearing anything through headphones, did you turn up the volume? Did you cycle the mute buttons? Did you adjust how the volume knob reacts ie what it adjusts?


Take a look through the pdf manual I linked above, it covers all of the basic things you will need to know about the Eleven Rack in order to use it properly.

You don't need to set the output to amp if you are not connected to an amp/pa/powered FRFR speaker ect... with one or both of the output to amp ports.
