Transfer From Cloud to External Storage
Hi there!
I'm new to Pro Tools and just set up to record. Everything I've done thus far has saved to the cloud and I would like to save it to an external hard drive instead. Can anyone give step by step instructions for a super newbie? Thanks so much! |

Re: Transfer From Cloud to External Storage
Welcome to the community.
You should check out Chapter 11 in the Pro Tools Reference Guide, specifically the section about Save Copy In on pg 157. That will allow you to save a backup of your Projects and/or Sessions. Also, Pro Tools uses a local cache for your Projects, it's not recording to/playing from the cloud. This local cache is used by Pro Tools, you can't access it the same way you access Sessions which contain an Audio Files folder etc.
