Problems after Reinstall

Hi there all

Yesterday, after numerous crashes, and my MP3 bounce option no longer working, I decided to re-install my Pro-Tools M-Audio upgraded to version 8 from 7

In my downloads page was the option to download the complete 8 install rather than having to install version 7, and then update to 8, so I chose that route.

Upon completion of the installation, I got an error box CODE -7, when I close that box, I got another box, "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.

I cannot even get Pro-Tools to run now. same 2 messages pop up everytime.

Any help please?

Make sure Pro Tools is being run as Administrator (right click the shortcut, and check the box).
