Default view grid through regions

is there a way to make this happen? it sure would make eding MUCH easier...

that absolutely sucks! what do you do when you are editing and need to see the grid?

The grid is visible in that tiny crack between the tracks. You have to be careful, though, because if you rip that crack open accidentally, you'll be sucked through into an alternate dimension in which all audio is strictly quantized, and music suffocates before it can be born. Seriously, if you're in grid mode, you can use your cursor/selector to view one or two grid lines overlaid on the audio with sample accuracy.

Oh, BTW, you have to have "Draw Grid In Edit Window" checked in prefs/Display in order for the grid to show. You probably knew that.

I don't need to anymore, but when I was first getting used to Pro Tools, I would create an aux track and move it next to the track I was editing. You can see the grid in the empty aux track.

yeah, this is what i am doing now. i just thought it would be cool if i could actually see the line through the regions.
