Default OT: URS Fulltec eq

I already have (and love) the URS A & N series EQs.... but I'm curious about the "Fullltec" eq.
Can someone explain the concept of "simultaneous boosting and attenuation"? How (and why) do you boost and cut a frequency at the same time? or do I misunderstand this feature?
Mainly....Do we like this plugin?
(in addition to the A & N series, I also have the McDSP filterbank. Would the Pultec vibe bring something else to the table?)

thanks in advance

okay I'll be more specific. As I stated earlier in this thread, I have the URS A & N series and also the McDSP filterbank.
Does the Fulltec do something unique and special ($200 worth) that my existing eqs don't do?

thanks

the answer is : probably, it΄s sound would be worth $200 to me. If it΄s worth to you is
something completely different.

even if pointing out the obvious:

there is a DEMO avvailable.

compare it to the rest of you setup and trust only your ears.

mindnoise - thanks for the input. I wanted to hear somebody say that they liked this plug
I was thinking that I had used up my demo priviledges with URS but I was wrong. I just downloaded the demo ... I'm going to check it out right away.

thanks again

ARGHHHHHH!
I was right....my URS demo priviledges have expired (used them last year). Don't remember much about the Fulltec...I had my eye on the A & N series at the time. oh well....to spend or not to spend?

HI,

this is bad, since you have McDSP already plus URS A&N it΄s hard to tell, if you have the money
easily then YES, if not get something you need more than an additional EQ.

or ask URS for another go, they are usually quite responsive.

You can always rent the plug-in for a week... the rental goes towrds the full cost.

Yes, I like all the URS plug-ins.. and I recommend them.. how much use will you get out of the Fulltec? I can't say. I personally like having different options.
