Default PTLE with Mackie Control + EchoBoy plugs

Has anyone tried using the Mackie Control with PT LE? And if so any problems and or comments? I'm using the digi 002 right now, and had wanted to switch over to Cubase SX and or Nuendo, but lately I've been going back and forth in my head between each DAW.... and might want to stick with the updated PT with the added tracks etc. Also, is anyone using PTLE with the new Echoboy plugs? If so how much CPU usage do they suck up?

Thanks for any and all comments,

P
