Default Mbox 2 Mini versus Mbox 3 Mini (Another One)

Just scored an Mbox 3 Mini for $35. Mint and everything. I’ve been an Mbox 2 Mini user for quite awhile now. Actually, my introduction to Pro Tools goes back to the original Mbox in 2006. I’ve always loved the Mbox series. My question is, how’s the 3rd generation Mbox Mini in comparison to the 2nd generation Mbox Mini? Mainly in terms of sound quality. I know this topic has been discussed over and over but wanted more of a present view (2018). We’re at an time where Apollo and Scarlett are the new interfaces but was just wondering if anybody had or is still using the Mbox series. Thanks.
