is there any plug-in like the TC Electronic Asssimilator that works with protools LE 8?

Izotope's Ozone will match an EQ curve if that's what you are after. Be aware though that matching an EQ curve for a song or instrument rarely makes your song/instrument sound "just like" the reference.
