Sessions dont want to open.

Alright well i made a super upgrade from a power mac g4 running pro tools 6.4
To a G5 running 7.4.2. one problem though.I cant open up my previous sessions made in 6.4.They appear as Grey squares that open up terminal.I need to open these sessions desperately.Is there some sort of recovery program or can i open it using something else?
please help asap.

Instead of double clicking on the icon try opening the session from within pro tools. File - open session - browse to the file and click open.

ive tried it and no avail.
Another thing i forgot to mention was that most of my
sessions were made with midi.So if there is a way for me to extract the midi or something also let me know.
