Default Digi 003 Error 6093 & 6086, no solution?

Hello, I'm writting here because I've tried every possible solution I've found online and I still can't fix my problem.

Here are my system and equipment specs:

OSX Lion 10.7.5
Mac Pro
2 x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon
3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256 MB

Pro Tools 10.3.10
Digi 003 Interface
Behringer ada8000

What I've tried:
Changing firewire ports, using a different firewire cable, buying a new firewire cable, using no more than 90% in CPU limit, trying all combinations of setups in the playback engine options, disabling and uninstalling plug-ins, re-installing both Pro Tools and digi003 driver, trashing prefs, turning on the interface at least 3 hours before using it (I read it could help stabilize digital systems), closing any other apps other than Pro Tools while working, working on a session directly on the mac's hardrive, working on a session on an external hard drive, etc.

Basically I've been trying everything I've found so far online with no results.

The strange thing is the following: Some days I have no issues at all, others I can't go for 10 seconds without having the error.

The other strange thing: If, for example, I want to record some drums, as soon as I start recording and the drummer starts playing, I almost immediately get the error. However, if I start recording and the drummer doesn't play anything... it records without an issue! I'm thinking the problem must be cause by the data transfer process, but I can't figure out what it is exactly.

I run a business with this studio, and I'm desperately trying to find a solution, since I can't currently afford to buy another interface or anything like that.

Is there anyone out there who could think of another possible solution to this problem? Thank you very much for reading all this.

In addition to the above, you should at least consider that this computer:
Mac Pro
2 x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon
3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
is woefully under-powered for the current crop of Pro Tools. I am far from a Mac expert, but I believe these specs point to the first generation of Mac Pro, which came out around the time of PT7-7.4? Very slow RAM and not much of it either, and you are trying to run a much newer OS and PT version, both of which probably need a lot more horsepower than that generation of Mac Pro can deliver I also have to ask what drive are you recording to? A separate internal SATA drive would give the best performance

My last PC(5 years old) was an i7 quad with 12GB of RAM and it ran PT 8LE an 9 like a champ. PT 10 was a bit worse, but still worked, but PT11 ran like crap. After moving to a newer 6 core i7 computer, PT11(HD) runs like a freight train(not suggesting you should move to a PC, just that maybe the old beast is past its prime)

3GB 667Mhz is wayyyy to underpowered

Even though you run PT10 you need atleast 4GB and much better Mhz on them.

That is a huge problem and not really surprised you have buffer underruns and other errors there. Also would be interesting to hear what Drives you have and what drive you record to ..

The 2.66 dual core is a 1.1 i believe and it should work OK as we ran HD TDM3 on one very successfully but we had 16 GB RAM and shoved in SSD SATA drives in it.
