Metaflanger modulation automation

Hi,
I'm using the Metaflanger on a track. But each time i play the track
the modulation movement is different. I know you can influence it
by automation the stop button. In this mix i turn it on and off a few times.
Is there a way to automate the starting point of the modulation itself?
