Default Saving CPU settings in PT 6

for some reason I can no longer save my CPU settings in PT 6. I think this may have started when I upgraded to 10.2.6 but I am not sure. Every time I start Pro Tools (6.0.1) the CPU is set to 65% (the default) I can then go change it to a higher setting but the next time I start it up I have to do the same drill over again.
If anyone knows what I am supposed to do to keep it at 85% I would appreciate it.
TIA
