With the advent of pro tools 9 why not do away with digi hardware altogether. As noted the cam is nothing but hassle, on my 002r I did away with cam years ago in favour of the mini jack to alt-src.
I picked up a TC Konnekt 24d a few months back and can't believe how solid and fluid the drivers are compared with cam. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

If you see my previous post - the 002/003 were based on the HD driver for reasons I won't go into. It made sense at the time those drivers were being developed.
