Photobucket is free if you don't buy into their up-sales BS. Anyway, make sure the counter is set to show bars and beats. If you select it to show, say, minutes, the grid will NOT be on the beats anymore(an easy mistake to make from one that HAS made it).

Thumbs up Re: grid view problem...

I can confirm this grid issue. My G5 setup did this and I couldn't figure it out. I have recently done a fresh install on my Intel iMac 24 which has replaced the G5, so I can't go back and look for any details etc.

From memory it was also two of the early bars like 6 & 7.

The grid spaces are all the same except for these two bars which are abnormally wider than the others.

Nothing seems to be able to switch or trick the grid back to behaving correctly.

Fact.

A fresh install is possibly the last &/or fastest resort?!?

Stray meter marker change or stray tempo change? That would cause that for bars.

I think I know what you're talking about, because I've seen that myself. If you zoom in or out, the "missing" grid lines should appear.

In the time spent waiting for others to post screenshot hosts, I could have reinstalled Pro Tools countless times.
