Disable drag to vertically scroll MIDI track?
You know how when you're trying to select a group of MIDI notes in the Edit View (not the full MIDI Editor) and if your cursor touches the top or bottom of the track it automatically starts scrolling up or down?
I appreciate that this can sometimes be useful, but is there a way to disable it, such that the only want to scroll up and down in a MIDI track would be with the little arrows? I find myself constantly scrolling a billion octaves out of the range of where I'm working and it's more annoying than helpful.

Hopefully, the new application manager will allow for suggestions and this is a good one. I've been asking for a scroll-lock for a while now

Re: Disable drag to vertically scroll MIDI track?
It’s a bummer when scrolling near the upper or lower edge of the track and you slightly touch the edge and it races away from you

Re: Disable drag to vertically scroll MIDI track?
Four years later, I'm truly amazed that this isn't a huge issue with tons and tons of users.

Re: Disable drag to vertically scroll MIDI track?
This "kind" of issue happens to me across the board in virtually every single app that "scrolls" whatsoever. The ONLY way to deal with it in most apps I've seen that deal with it is a "scroll lock" or else a "page by page" view, which both annoy other users in their own right. It's kind of an intrinsic problem with free scroll.
Options here would be good: either scroll lock to focus, or scroll freeeee!
