no midi drum sounds during playback

Hello,

I cannot hear my midi drum recordings during playback. I’m using PT10 and Superior Drummer 2.0 with an external Akai MPD18 Pad Controller (Interface is Liquid Saffire 56). The pad controller is USB that goes directly into my iMac. I CAN hear the drums being triggered during recording and see the meter responding, but there’s no sound during playback (even though I can see the meter representing what I recorded).

I’ve honestly read and tried everything to configure some kind of output. BTW, I have recorded tons of midi instrument plug-ins (Xpand2) with no problem.
