Air InMusic > Expansion Pack downloads

So, I did a fresh install of my system drive and I don't have the installers for my Air Instrument Expansion Pack......


So I go to my email and get the order number (from 2013) and it tells me the downloads are not good anymore because it's been too many days.....

I emailed them.....and they said

"Dear John Daniel Christiansen,

Thank you for contacting the Air Music online store.

Your download file is no longer available due to the age of the order.
The download was available for up to 2 years, however, it has exceeded
that specified timeframe.

You may need to place a new order instead.

Who does this? As a company who says I am supposed to place a new order b/c my old one is too old? This company has been backwards since I purchased this crossgrade.

Does anyone know how to proceed? I need the installers.....I have gigs of installers....but for some reason I don't have these......

I agree, it's rather silly. The least they could do is unlock another download for a few days. I always end up purchasing the additional access time when I buy any AIR upgrades, because I know my installers may disappear eventually.

Do you by any chance have the Air Instrument Expansion Pack 2? If so, there was a very small paid upgrade to version 2.0.2 for around $40, which enabled the new iLok licenses and AU / VST support. If you're able to add this upgrade, you may be able to get access to another set of installers.

I am not sure which ones I have....all the installers show 2.0.X.

I emailed them back and asked them how do I get the installers w/o having to purchase these again......

It really doesn't seem that hard....you by a couple of gigs of space and there they sit till eternity comes....

This is with the idea that the installers are all generic....(which they might not be)

It's a bit off topic, but the idea that I had to purchase a PC version of Velvet (which was fine at the time) then when I moved to Mac, had to repurchase a plugin I already owned.

That's rather random. The AIR plugins before they moved to iLok licenses always came with two S/Ns, one for Mac and one for PC.

After reading this, I tried my 2013 order number, to see if it still worked.
Worked perfectly OK here, so I do suggest you try it again
