Default Digi 001 Factory Rumor

Heard a rumor that they wont be selling the Digi 001 Factory for very much longer. The price hasnt changed at any of my local music stores (or online ones that I browse) Anyone else hear about this rumor?

Turnkey knocked nearly £300 off the price of the Toolbox XP and then it was discontinued, they're selling the factory bundle for £899 at the moment, some places sell the digi001 on it;s own for £750 so that suggests it's on the way out.

Damn it, I can't afford a G4 to run it on but I wanted the factory, I guess I'll be sticking with AMIII for a few years whatever mac I get next and then buying the digi002. A dual G4 with a digi002 would be such a cool system once the whole bundle is OS X native. Maybe this a good thing overall.

I buy a digi 001 today for a friend coming for PC / Cubase world. No toubles in France to get some, but yes the dealer told me that Digi wants to sell 002 in priority... Indeed, the price hasn't change (around 1250 Euros), but the problem is now to find an 'old' G4 .... The Bi-proc' are not until 'valid' for Digi, and you don't find 800 anymore. You just have to wait ! It's so uncomfortable

Here in Japan they`ve discounted the factory bundle down to about $1,100US. I snatched one up as soon as I could.
