Default Boradcast.wav

I have heard some buzz about a new format or a format revision called broadcast.wav. Does anyone have any info on this? Also, to Digi...are there plans to be able to file convert to and from broadcast.wav? Thanks

PTNT allows you to natively use Broadcast Wav files. The Mac version can already import them.

So, if I generate and export a wav file then it is fully compatible with a broadcast.wav file?

Only PTNT. The mac version still generates generic .wav files.

So, is there a pathway for a mac based PT system to generate a broadcast.wav file? Any third party software? Our PT system is in a facility that is about to add two Quantel Edit Boxes which utilize the broadcast.wav format. Any suggestions?
