Re: Good, relatively inexpensive, quiet Firewire Drive
I have Ozzy's OWC drive above but in a 120 GB version (in fact, I have two of them) and it rocks! It has an external power supply so I can have the drives right on the desk by me and no fan noise at all. They are fast and do a great job. I can't recommend them enough.

nz,
Are you running hefty PT sessions with your OWC 120GB? If so, how many tracks and at what bit/resolution? Thanks, Chris

Funny. As I write this message, I am waiting for my OWC Elite Pro 100gig to arrive any minute now via Airborne Express.

Re: Good, relatively inexpensive, quiet Firewire Drive
Hi. I've got one of the OWC drives wentioned above. It is quiet and works great! I've got a G4/400 and an Mbox. No complaints here. Good luck.
