I've got El Captan 10.11.1 and my HDX does not show up in AudioMidi Setup or System Preferences > Sound for Core Audio. Is this the issue we're waiting or to get fixed?

It's pretty telling and sad that the 'Core' audio driver has been broken seemingly for years now...

Yes, I found out when I upgraded to 10.10.5 (after El Crapitan was out) that my iTunes tracks wouldn't play with my HD I/o and HDN card

That's what we are waiting on .....at least me

And yet the latest core audio driver is launch-able and there's no good reason it should not work. But it doesn't. Is it possible AVID doesn't want us using any other DAWs with our expensive AVID hardware? I'm not a programmer, but I can't imagine this would take too much effort to fix right away.
