connecting mbox pro with roland jv-2080

hey all, this is my first time here,so im not sure if im in the right place. forgive me if i am. im trying to connect my mbox to a roland jv-2080. have the midi hooked up OUT of mbox to IN of roland. direct out LR to Line in of mbox...? if thats correct.. created a midi track in PT. im getting signal to the track but getting NO audio. can anyone please tell me what im doing wrong?? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!
