Routing my digital mixer back into Pro Tools 10
I have my mix of my DM 4800 buss out through 31/32. I would like to record this summed stereo mix in PT10. I'm not sure how to exactly do this, even though I tried reading the manual. I tried it which an audio track and set the input of the audio track to 31/32 but I got no "action". When I try the identical thing with an "aux"track, I DO get "action", but no way to record. I know there must be some "button" I didn't press. Can someone tell me what's up?

Re: Routing my digital mixer back into Pro Tools 10
Hes on an HD rig... how many tracks are you running?
How are you connecting the Tascam hooked up to PT? Is PT playing back the tracks that you are mixing on the Tascam and just want to record that master 2 track back into Pro Tools via bus 31/32?
