Default Quick HEAT question.

The manual says that HEAT launch's with pre as the default setting. The manual also states that HEAT is in pre when the "P" button is lit up. Every time that I launch HEAT the "P" button is not lit up. in other words the manual is contradicting itself. I have gone ahead and determined, by inserting a trim plugin on an audio track and observing it's affect on the HEAT meter on that track, that "P" being lit up means that it is in fact in pre. My question is; does HEAT launch with pre as the default setting for anyone else?

no. "PRE" is not lit up. that means default is POST.
if you see only a P expand your mix window setting.

Hey marrap, thanks for the answer. I see all of the settings no problem. My confusion came from reading the contradictory manual. That'll teach me to RTFM. Ha

Could the writing of the manuals be being outsourced like the code writing is? Not very confidence inspiring.
