Default How do I rewire Reaper

Anyone know how to do this? There is really no information on their site or in the manual. I think some are using this I just cannot figure it out. I am looking for a program that is more efficient than Beat Detective.

Thanks for any and all replies.

Beat Detective is a clever little tool and for live recordings it can do wonders, but it does take some getting used to.

If you're looking at a Beat Detective companion for electronic music, you might want to have a look at Ableton Live. Works fine as a Rewire slave to ProTools and does a lot of other nifty things.

Also, take a look at this thread:

Thanks Pasta. I read those threads. There are a few of them. I appreciate your input. I really just need a step by step guide to figure how to rewire Reaper to PT. I have some multi tracked drums and am having a tough time with BD. It is taking me forever to get the drums down. I have tried the collection mode style, the slip mode style and the grid mode style. I know it is a lengthy process and I have watched all the tutorials I can find multiple times. I have sat with BD for many long hours of editing and it seems to me that the reaper program is an easier way of doing things. So, I am trying to get these 2 to work together. My question is how do I instantiate Reaper in PT.

Anyone using this on a mac and have an idea on how to do this?

Thanks

Unless the newer versions have added this, Rewire slave mode was Windows only in Reaper.
