Default Replace all fades with dithered fades

I have a session (48k/24bit) with a lot of fades that are mixed between dithered and non-dithered fades. I was trying to think of a way to have all the fades re-rendered as dithered fades. I figured I'd delete all the fades (fade directory) and reopen the session and then let ProTools re-render but I can't think of a way to force all the newly created fades to be dithered. Of course, the fades all vary by purpose and I hate to have to waste a bunch of time going through and selecting individual fades to check the "dither" box (there are over 3000 fades in this session)

Anyone have any ideas? (Maybe some mysterious setting in the Project or Workspace Browsers?)
