Default Best Channel Strip Plug In???

Hello,

I'm just getting into using Pro Tools LE and I'm starting on a new Mix. I'm looking for a great Channel Strip Plug-In with a good amount of presets for LD and Background Vocals. I have Metric Halo's "ChannelStrip" but it severly lacking as far as Vocal presets. I'm also not into the "Waves" stuff. I don't like their WUP!!!. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

hi,

at www.ursplugins.com they sell the URS Classic Console Strip
for just $200, which is a steal. URS is among the best of the best.
But you need an ilok (www.ilok.com)

But you can get other great Compressor and EQ from www.masseyplugins.com
they are DEAD CHEAP so don´t let the price fool you!!!
They are great and don´t even require an iLok.

Thanks, I was looking at the URS Plug-In, I believe the price went up to 250 now. I like the Massey stuff but I'm looking for an all in one ChannelStrip.

Anyone else care to comment???

Naagzh, I thought that the McDsp channel G was TDM only???

DOUBLE EDGE, I don't really have a beef with Waves WUP, like you I own the NNP, as well as GTR and the single REN Reverb Plug-in but the SSL Bundle was a little out of my price range.

I ended up purchasing URS's Classic Console Strip and will see how that works out.

Thanks

Thanks, I gave a call to MCDSP and they are shipping the Native Emerald Pack in about 2 weeks. Unforunately, If you only want just the Channel G Plug-In your out of luck. You have to buy the Bundle.

Indeed it is. A "real" studio in the neighborhood was demo'ing it while I was hanging around; I'm unable to try it on my rig.

Ahh, so it used to be just TDM. I just saw that about the Emerald Pack. Cool.
