Yes. That is it.

I have not seen an update that fixes this and at this point it is well documented. Digi please get this one done quickly.

In another session last night I had this same message. It didn't seem to be any of the files I was using, it didn't indicate which files were invalid or beyond bounds. I had no time to investigate.

8.0.4, 10.5.8 here.

Only started happening on 8.0.4.

Doesn't seem to matter if it's a pre-created session, or one started on 8.0.4.

Sometimes "saving as" makes it go away for a bit.

Appears to be a red herring - I haven't noticed any missing audio (on some pretty sparse sessions too).

Sorry for the delay.

I had this error message too but checking the regionlist and session itself intensively and listening to it I could not find anything was missing.

bumping this because I'm now having major problems with this. Audio files are going missing... today after we spent a whole afternoon tracking vocals, I had to get the singer to re-do two lines that were suddenly gone from the session / corrupted on disk. totally unacceptable... i'm a big PT supporter but when it comes to the software corrupting and losing our recorded files - this is really bad. come on Avid... hope this gets fixed soon because now I don't even know if what I record will be there next time I open a session... whether it's in an hour or two weeks from now. sketchy.

Indeed missing and corrupted files are of the most troubling sort. In short, this particular thread is dealing with a dialog that is posting on session open that is specific to files that are purposely removed via Undo by the user.

Other reports of missing/corrupted (explain corrupt, please, in your case) audio files should get their own separate post apart from this one, as previously stated.

Hope you can backtrack and find some clues/steps that led to your missing files.
Drives OK?

I have completely lost 6 sessions due to this, to paying customers. I am about ready to switch daws again.
