PT Only Recognizing Inputs 1-2! Please help

003 is "Offline" until I double click the CoreAudio Manager, that's when it goes to "Working..." and it says it is Connected @ 48K, Buffer at 512, Attached clients 0.

Also, when I go into the Audio/MIDI setup even though I chose the 003 as output it changes it back to Built-In when I exit and come back.

is your 003 powered on?

if so, try restarting your mac. here is what mine says in the audio midi setup: under system settings default input: digidesign HW, default output: digidesign HW, system output: built-in. I didn't have to mess with anything in there. after setting up my digi hw, i just went into system preferences and changed the sound audio output to digi HW. then i made sure the coreaudio manager was connected. Itunes can play through my interface.
