Default C24 Scribble Strip Shortcomings

Have had a C24 for over a year now and originally had the paint-peeling and power supply problems early on, but both were commendably resolved by Digi. Given the price, it's an admirably designed piece of gear. Perhaps the most prevalent change I would like to see is a possible "scrolling" or "2-line" scribble strip software update. The current one is WAY too short and while a larger strip would handle the situation in future hardware releases, it wouldn't help those of us who currently own the present release unit. Whadaya say. Any chance?

Can you suggest how the scrolling might work? I wouldn't want the displays to scroll continuously -- it'd make my head spin! Are you thinking something like, there might be some command key combination that would momentarily scroll the whole name, and then timeout to the abbreviated name?

Thanks,

Hey Stan,

This is not a bad idea, why not allocate one of those function keys that are not yet functional as an off off scroll scribble strip selector that way you could globaly have the scribble strips scroll or not scroll.
Also we all would love a 24 channel fader pack that mirrored the one on the control 24. No need for Pre's just 24 Faders pot's scribble strips meters, etc. I know this would not be a very popular idea with all those Pro Control users but hey we C24 users all want one, and it would make the Control 24 look absolutely superb.

How about holding down the Show Channel Names button to globally scroll all scribble strips until button is let up. That would be SO helpful!
