Default Anyone recommend an old hifi amp good for home studio use?

I am currently using a lovely vintage early 80's Marantz amp given to me by my brother some years ago.. but the old thing is on the way out now. I love it because it has a headphone out and a direct monitor switch, so when recording someone in the room with me, I can just hit that switch and mute the monitors whilst still monitoring via the headphones. It's a good amp, but I'm not sure it was ever built for the purpose.

Can anyone recommend an old amp which is good for monitoring in a home studio setup? And which might be available for around £30 possibly on ebay?!

Thanks

Or equally, if anyone can recommend a cheap old dedicated studio/monitoring amp for £30 - £60 that would be great too.

Yes i suppose I could clean out all the pots. What are ICs? It's from about 1980 - 1982 I think.
