Nasty pops and cracks when applying plug-ins
I put plug ins(eq/compression/reverb/etc) on the insert of a track or in an aux and when I change the effects on the plug ins while the tracking is playing, I get a lot of pops and cracks. Is this just a dumb newbie mistake? Should I change the settings while no audio is going, and then hit play after I make my changes?

Re: Nasty pops and cracks when applying plug-ins
It depends on the plugin...make sure you have the most up-to-date versions.
