Default QuickTime Synth/001/PTLE

People!

After looking at the FAQ's on the support page for the 001/Mac, I have found out about using the internal Quicktime Synth to produce a click via PTLE. This is great as I don't use a sound module at the moment.

Although i realise that this Quicktime Synth will only produce pants GM sounds I was wondering whether anyone could tell me if it can be used to produce anything other than the click and how could I "play" it via a controller keyboard? I will be investing in a decent sound module in the future as I want to use one for live gigging as well as studio work.

Just wondered about this Quicktime Synth thing in the Mac ???

Thanks,
Crags.
