Education?
I've always wondered about educational buyers. I've been a good boy and paid full price, but am wondering how they prove you aren't a student or teacher. Do you have to be a music student, or just any student/teacher? This is for all software but Digi software BTW...

Re: Education?
Well, different companies have different ways of checking. Some don't even bother checking. If purchasing for the educational institution, they'll often require a purchase order faxed on the institutions letterhead. Students and teachers usually have ID's, and a photo-copy of your school ID will often suffice. I know of one company (Wolfram) that actually requires a student to get the educational institution to mail a sealed proof of enrollment to them before issueing the key to the software to the student. There are many ways to do it....and sometimes the price difference isn't worth the extra hassle.
