New Waves (.cs) loads very slowly ???

Hi, i downloaded the updates for waves gold and suddenly when i get into pro tools it lasts at least two minutes to load the WaveShell RTAS, has anyone experienced this two, or does anyone how to solve it ???

That used to happen to me when I had the NPP bundle 2.8. At that time, WAVES required the use of a dongle in order to access their plug-ins, but with release 3.0, no dongle required. Now PT boots in about 10 seconds.

I fixed it !!!, all i had to do is remove the WavesLib alias from the Extension Folder and the TrueVerbLib too, that's it, if anyone else has this problem then you have it here. Thanks anyway Gremz.

So does your Waves stuff still work without those libs?

The Waves stuff still works because what i did delete was the two alias pointing to the original files in the Waves Folder. I guess something was wrong with either one of them. The thing is that every time you launch dae (or waves) this link is restored, so no problem at all.
