In the guide it says that although you only see two digits in fractions; whatever you type in will be what is processed. You can type in four numbers after the decimal so that should give you what your looking for I think
Cool. Then I change my suggestion to: I suggest to display ALL digits I type and that are actually accepted to be processed. Whatดs the idea of not showing the rest of what I entered? Some kind of built-in MasterMind-Game?

frank.

Regarding the number of decimal places allowed in the Shift fields, in the Guide we state the following: "The Shift field only displays up to 2 decimal places, but lets you type in as many decimal places as you want (up to the IEEE standard). While the display rounds to 2 decimal places, the actual time shift is applied based on the number you typed. This is especially useful for post-production pull up and pull down factors (see “Post Production Pull Up and Pull Down Tasks” on page 12).

This has to do with the new TCE algorithms in the Time Shift plug-in requiring an analysis pass before AudioSuite preview. Prior to Pro Tools 7.2, Pro Tools did not allow for an analysis pass before previewing audio when using AudioSuite plug-ins. Unfortunately there was no way for us to add this feature in a way that it would be available for pre-7.2 users.

It seems like I hear flange and artifacts on preview but on process it is fine. Could this be indicative of the new algorithms? I don't remember the former TCE behaving like that on preview.

Does this work with TDM V6.4.1 on G4 running OS10.3.4
- The installer opens but nothing happens.
- However the installer works on my G5 ( but no PT on that 'puter)
- Installing on the G5 then copy over to the G4 doesn't work either
?

From what I understand this plug will work in 7.1 in AudioSuite only... You cannot use it as a default preference plug in the trim tool. Correct?
